As part of the Gleaux Within initiative, Gleaux Lab is expanding its mission beyond healing circles and workshops to include direct community care, both in Phoenix and back home on the Navajo Nation. Healing is not only ceremony, conversation, or self-care — it is also meeting our people’s material needs with dignity, love, and respect.

This year, we are honored to organize a Toy & Clothing Drive for Navajo children and families living in Counselor, New Mexico, hosted at the Counselor Chapter House on the reservation.

Toy & Clothing Drive — Counselor, New Mexico

Many families in this region face long-standing economic barriers, limited access to warm clothing, and scarcity of resources — especially during colder months. By collecting toys, warm clothes, winter essentials, children’s shoes, and learning supplies, we aim to support our youngest relatives with comfort, joy, and care.

For Diné communities, supporting children is more than charity — it is ceremony, responsibility, and love.
When our youth feel safe and cared for, our entire Nation strengthens. This drive is one way we continue to uplift the land and community that raised us.
